Trader terms and conditions

 
 

1. In order to trade, stall holders are required to have their own Public Liability insurance with a minimum value of £1M cover.

2. Green Rooms Market may require you to complete a risk assessment form before trading at our markets. Stall holders will be given adequate notice to provide this.

3. Stall holders agree to abide by any specific rules or requirements set out by the venue. Stall holders will be informed of any such stipulations prior to the event.

4. Food and/or drinks vendors are required to have the appropriate licences from local council prior to trading with Green Rooms Market and will need to provide a copy of the Food Hygiene and Insurance certificates prior to trading.

5. Plant sellers:
Every business that works with plants must be registered as a professional operator. You may also need UK plant passports. For more information on importing plants and plant passports see here.

All plants must be checked by the stall holder to be pest and virus free before bringing them to the market.

6. Invoices for pitch fees will be sent on confirmation of successful application. Payment fees will be required in full 14 days after invoice.

7. Cancellations within 7 days of the market date are non-refundable but Green Rooms Market would consider part-refund in exceptional circumstances.

8. Should a Green Rooms Market event be cancelled by Green Rooms, stall holders will receive a 100% refund of stall fee paid.

9. Green Rooms Market are committed to providing, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of Health, Safety and Welfare at each event. Under Health and Safety legislation, Stall holders are responsible for the safety of their stall, i.e. setting items up in a safe and secure manner to avoid accidents and the stall holder agrees to indemnify Green Rooms Market against all claims arising out of negligence on the part of the stall holder and/or their helpers.

10. We are really keen to keep any plastic to a minimum; we understand this is hard to do when so many plants are still coming from suppliers as wrapped in plastic and in plastic plant pots. Please no single use plastic at our events. If you do have any waste at the end of the market, please give it to Annie or Jemma and we will ensure it is disposed of correctly by the venue. 

11. We encourage stall holders to supply paper bags rather than plastic bags for your customers to take their products home in.

12. Any goods/trade disputes are between the stall holder and the customer, Green Rooms Market accept no legal responsibility.

13. Stall holders are responsible for all activities that take place on their stall throughout the event.

14. Stall holders must remove all waste, litter and unsold items from the venue when leaving the event. Please leave your stall area as you found it.

15. Green Rooms Market reserve the right to dispose of any items left behind following an event.

16. Green Rooms Market reserve the right to stop a stall holder from trading and vacate premises if they do not abide by the terms and conditions set out above.
