Beanstalk Plant Co was founded by Megan during lockdown to make the world of indoor plants more accessible to everyone, and a little less daunting for any first-time plant parents. They are online only, delivering nation wide.
Claudia is an award winning garden designer who has created an online shop where you will find a gorgeous range of speciality garden and home products, many of which have been included in her designs and of course her own garden.
Brand new to Altrincham is a wonderful new plant shop with a great selection of botanical brands providing pots, seeds and growing accessories alongside a jungle-full of plants! Their website is coming soon.
In-Tray burst onto the plant scene during lockdown with their online selection of plants, botanical products and enticing imagery to match. They are now delivering all around the UK and you can even shop in person at the recently opened Menier store, London Bridge.
Lovingly made planters by Carly, a plant enthusiast who’s hobby has become a business during lockdown. Her planters are made from sustainably sourced yarn and come with a watertight inner container.

We couldn’t do a round-up of Lockdown-born businesses without including Plant Savers! Now their season is closed, but we want to give them a special mention…Plant Savers was created by three London based friends to support British nurseries hit by the COVID crisis, to save millions of plants going to waste. They created handy plant and compost bundles selling within London and beyond. Since their launch they have found homes for over 280,000 plants and raised more than £18,000 for good causes.
